How to Participate in the "Real Money Bomb"

Unfortunately, we don't yet live in a truly free society, and there are some limits to how you can donate to political campaigns -- even when dealing with real money, and not the play money that most of the FEC regulations are intended to apply to as part of the “incumbent protection plan.”

If you are sending us physical metal by mail, please insure your shipment.

If your metal is in the form of actual US Currency, like Silver Eagles, you can count them as face value, but in that case they count as cash, and we can only accept cash donations of up to $100. You also have the option of counting your donation by the market value as an in kind contribution, and in that case, the normal limit of $2,400 per person per cycle applies.

If you are donating metal that is not denominated as currency, it must be counted as an in kind contribution, and the normal limit applies in that case as well. If you are donating cash through the website, and are requesting that it be invested in metals, we will put it in a fund that will be used to purchase precious metals in the most practical manner.
